After

Before

Last summer, I joined Anytime Fitness and began cardio, strength training, and for the first time at Leanne’s encouragement, yoga. Two months later, I was lying on the concrete of my friend’s driveway, paralyzed from the neck down after an accident knocked me several feet onto my head. Wonderful EMTs/Fireman that I had met at the gym happened to be on call and helped/comforted me greatly. Next, followed a life flight to Phoenix. I had broken one vertebra in my neck, fractured another, torn both shoulders, and suffered a traumatic brain injury. The doctors who treated me later stated that my working out at the gym and doing yoga had greatly helped my ability to recover. The paralysis reversed , I eventually left intensive care and began rehab. I was still limited in movement and my metabolism seemed to stop. In January, I began to workout at Anytime Fitness daily. Even though there wasn’t much weight loss at first, I kept at it. Met with a personal trainer and increased my workouts. At this point, I’ve managed to drop 38 pounds, which has been great for my health. Equally beneficial, I’ve met and made many good friends at the gym whose encouragement and help touches me deeply. One recently talked me into trying the cycle classes (which kicked butt- thanks Teri). Bottom line, my decision to join Anytime Fitness has totally impacted my life even in unforeseen ways! Thanks Jonathan and Leanne!

"Anytime Fitness, the thing I like most about your gym is the fact that I can go when ever I want. If it’s 5 in the morning or 12 at night I like that flexibility because my schedule can be very crazy. The other thing I like is the equipment it’s all up to date it’s the latest and greatest."
